Rodeo Prize Wheel in Arizona
People lined up to spin the Prize Wheel from Desert Diamond Casinos during the Tohono O’odham Nation Rodeo in Sells, Arizona.
The 84th annual rodeo was held from February 3-5, 2023, at the Eugene P. Tashquinth Sr. Livestock Complex. In addition to the rodeo, the event included a business expo, arts and crafts, basketball tournament, food vendors, and a parade.
The Tohono O’odham Nation is a federally-recognized tribe that includes approximately 28,000 members occupying tribal lands in Southwestern Arizona. The Nation is the second largest reservations in Arizona in both population and geographical size, with a land base of 2.8 million acres and 4,460 square miles.
