When it comes to engaging students in hands-on learning and making agriculture both educational and fun, Ashland FFA has found a winning formula—literally. During Reagan Elementary School’s end-of-the-year Farm Carnival on May 28, the chapter turned up the excitement with the help of one of their favorite tools: a custom agricultural trivia Prize Wheel.
This colorful, customizable wheel wasn’t just a crowd-pleaser—it became a central part of the learning experience for preschool through third-grade students. As part of their station lineup, Ashland FFA members challenged kids to spin the wheel and answer age-appropriate ag-based trivia questions. Each correct answer earned a small prize, adding a game-show-like flair to the carnival atmosphere.
“The Prize Wheel helps make learning about agriculture interactive,” said one chapter member. “It’s a fun way to test their knowledge while keeping them engaged. The kids love the anticipation of the spin—and of course, the prizes!”
The Prize Wheel’s versatility allowed Ashland FFA to tailor trivia categories for different grade levels, making it a hit with everyone from tiny preschoolers to curious third graders. And because the wheel is fully customizable, the chapter could easily create themed inserts highlighting everything from animal care to crop facts. The wheel’s bright design and satisfying clicks with each spin naturally drew a crowd, making it one of the most visited stations of the day.
In addition to the trivia wheel, students also enjoyed planting seeds to take home and meeting a variety of animals, including steers, goats, a dog, and classroom favorites like ducks and bunnies. But it was the interactive nature of the Prize Wheel that kept kids coming back to test their knowledge—and try their luck.
The Prize Wheel is a proven way to elevate any event. Whether it’s energizing a school carnival, enhancing a career fair, or adding excitement to fundraisers and community outreach, the wheel has become a go-to tool for education, engagement, and fun. From local initiatives in places like Ashland, Ohio, to large-scale conventions, its ability to attract attention and encourage interaction makes it a versatile asset for organizations of all kinds.
Its portability, customizable slots, and universal appeal make it ideal for classrooms, fairs, conventions, and community events. With just a quick template update, Ashland FFA can transform the wheel into a trivia game, raffle selector, or even a discussion starter.
Ashland FFA’s creative use of the Prize Wheel is a testament to how a simple tool can bring lessons to life—and foster real curiosity in young learners. It’s not just a spin for fun—it’s a spin for knowledge.
As the chapter looks ahead to more community events and educational outreach, one thing’s certain: the Prize Wheel will keep turning, and learning will keep growing.
